Harborview Terrace GARDEN PARTY PERFORMANCE

  • Garden at Harborview Terrace Apartments 55th Street (between 10th & 11th Avenues) New York, NY (map)

RAIN OR SHINE!! If it’s raining this afternoon event is moved to Project Find, 530 W. 55th St.

In partnership with the New York Society for Ethical Culture, Jody Sperling and the Time Lapse Dance ensemble take root in the community garden of NYCHA's Harborview Terrace with a captivating site-specific performance that is FREE and open to the public. The program is part of an afternoon Garden Party from noon until 4pm.

The performance features two works: Plastic Harvest, a romp about plastic pollution that provokes contemplation about the beauty of that—and who—our society throws away; and  Arbor, which expresses human kinship with trees. All ages welcome!

Click to RSVP and receive updates on the event.

The Harborview Terrace Garden is easily visible by its brightly colored fence and is located on the south side of West 55th Street, midway between 10th & 11th Avenues.

This program is supported, in part, by an Eco-Artist residency with the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
