Our Work

Founder/Choreographer Jody Sperling has created more than 50 works—for stage, street, and screen—many of which weave together hypnotic spectacle (after the style of Loie Fuller) with a deep ecological consciousness. Since 2014, Sperling has been collaborating with composer Matthew Burtner on climate-engaged dance and music works for the company with themes such as melting ice, changing atmospheric conditions, plastic pollution, and tree ecology.

“You think equally of nature and art: Georgia O’Keeffe’s flower paintings, the luminous trajectories of jelly fish, George Balanchine’s ‘Vienna Waltzes,’ a chrysalis morphing rapidly into a butterfly.” –The New York Times
