Maki Kitahara

Dancer

Maki Kitahara is an award-winning dancer from Japan. She has been nominated for “The New Face Award” by The Agency For Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan. She moved to New York City in 2018 and her first achievement there was performing at the Whitney Museum of American Art.  She is a regular collaborator with professionals from other fields of art. She is also passionate for teaching. She has been working as an assistant/interpreter for the Youth America Grand Prix and as a faculty/an artistic adviser of Gibney Dance. Maki joined Time Lapse Dance in February 2019.
